SonLight Power Team Installs a Showcase System

SLP designed and installed a grid-tied solar power sub-system for the Espresso Americano coffee kiosk within the Embassy compound. This project is the first of its kind at the Embassy, one that U.S. Ambassador Hugo Llorens hopes will demonstrate the nation's commitment to promoting clean, sustainable and renewable energy solutions while inspiring visiting dignitaries to promote similar energy policy in their respective countries. As the U.S. Embassy's trusted partner in this project and winner of the 2010 Renewable Energy Award from the U.S. Ambassador to Honduras, SLP's visibility and credibility continues to grow within the region. A public dedication ceremony was held on June 20 with members of the international media in attendance to cover the event.
