Message from Kalubi Congo Project:
The Mezeu medical clinic serves 50,000 people in the Cibombo Cinuanyi community near Mbuja-Mayi, Kasai Province in the DRC (Congo).
Alex Kalubi grew up in Mbuja-Mayi so in loving memory of Alex and in his honor - SonLight Power is raising the necessary funds to install a solar power system to run the clinic and to drill a well and power a pump to provide water for the clinic, nearby school and community.
The solar power will run lights, microscope, centrifuges, other lab equipment, refrigeration, computers and OR lighting.
Jacky Kalubi, Alex's widow, will lead the team. Allen Rainey will supervise the installation.
