Biographical information about key members of Sonlight Power:

Allen Rainey

Founder and Executive Director

A former operations manager and journalist, Mr. Rainey became an advocate for renewable energy sources upon discovering how expensive it would be to extend the electrical grid to his fifty acres of rural property in Indiana. Mr. Rainey received his M.A in Practical Theology with a concentration in missions from Regent University in 2000. He enjoyed traveling with Regent professors on numerous mission trips to developing countries; these experiences helped form a foundation for stepping out in faith to launch SonLight Power.

Leo Radar

President

As an experienced IT Consultant, Mr. Rader brings his project management and communication skills to the Board of SonLight Power. Leo has enjoyed SLP mission trips to Guatemala and Honduras, installing solar power systems in 5 schools, and meeting the first of several generations of children at those schools to benefit from the learning opportunities afforded by the systems.

Mark Fay

A credentialed professional counselor and Regional Manager of SW Ohio with a 16 year career in the field of vocational rehabilitation for people with disabilities, Mr. Fay simply desires to live a life of impact.
